FitnessAt SportWell Center, the Fitness Education Program provides a variety of fitness information, which can help you start an exercise program or make changes to your existing program. If you have been trying to increase your fitness level to get the results you want, the SportWell Fitness staff may be able to help you redesign your program to make it more effective. Individual Fitness ConsultationUIUC students meet one-on-one with a trained fitness professional at SportWell. Nutrition concerns of any kind may be addressed in a half-hour session. Some topics may include: developing exercise prescriptions, strength equipment demonstrations, or personal fitness assessments that include body composition, resting heart rate, blood pressure, and strength and flexibility measurements. Fitness Walk-in ServicesWednesday's from 2:00 - 3:30 p.m. Get your general fitness questions answered and have your body composition measured (t-shirt and shorts required). Fitness handouts are also available. Play the Nintendo Wii at the OASISLooking for a fun way to stay active! Try SportWell's Nintendo Wii Sports and Wii fit. This interactive, social gaming experience is a great way to get your body moving. Check it out today! Valid I-card required. Visit the Calendar of Events for dates/times of room availability. Outreach ProgramsLet our fitness staff provide general fitness information including exercise guidelines, target heart rate, exercise prescriptions, and demonstrate strength and flexibility exercises to your group.
